Finally I got a little ahead of schedule, and decided to try to learn the piece that I mentioned in one previous post. Tried the section with the most chromatic polyphony, and it went so well that I think I'm going to follow through.
The recording kept reminding me of another guitarist. So I went through the CDs and found what I was looking for - Miguel Llobet's recordings from 1925-1929. The same kind of honesty.
(BTW, will somebody share how to correctly pronounce "Llobet" the way a Spanish speaker would, and also the way he himself would? I've seen too many transliterations :))
And I found a 1st string for my little guitar! The 2nd string from the Savarez Alliance red card set. Tuned as a D on my 630mm scale, the tension is only slightly higher than an E on a 650mm scale - like if you tuned it to F#.
Немного разгрёбся с делами, решил попробовать разучить романс, про который писал в предыдущем посте. Взялся за самую хроматическую часть, и она так хорошо сразу легла, что пожалуй-таки выучу.
И что-то мне этот романс начал навевать; я порылся в дисках и нашел - Miguel Llobet, записи 1925-29 годов. Играет с таким же откровением.
И наконец-то подобрал первую струну к семиструнке - 2-я из набора Savarez Alliance с красными полосками. На мою мензуру - 630мм - оказалась в самый раз. Посмотрим, сколько продержится.
