Finally got to practicing again. And while doing that, walked around the new house to find a good acoustical spot. Found two: one in the middle of the kitchen, another one - close to one corner of the living room. Haven't tried upstairs yet - the staircase is so steep that I don't dare climb it while playing :) But my wife went there to practice and I couldn't hear a thing. What a change from living in a studio - if we both had to practice, one of us would usually end up in the bathroom.
